Job Summary
Assess and plan individual treatment programs, administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with medical or minor surgical procedures under Charge Nurse supervision. Count controlled substances, implement clinical aspects of care per established protocols, and document nursing encounters using the SOAP form. Communicate critical information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requires current Registered Nurse licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
