Job Summary
Assess and plan individual treatment programs, administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with medical or minor surgical procedures. Count controlled substances and implement clinical aspects of care per established protocols. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form, attend mandatory staff meetings, and communicate with physicians and supervisory personnel. Work under Charge Nurse supervision to provide patient education and activities. Shifts run Thursday through Saturday or Sunday through Wednesday from 1930 to 0800. This role supports Wellpath's mission to provide compassionate care to underserved and vulnerable patients, offering ongoing training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Thursday - Saturdays or Sunday - Wednesdays
- Shift is 1930 - 0800
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
