Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Nights providing clinical oversight in a psychiatric hospital setting. Oversees day-to-day operations, follows physician orders, conducts comprehensive nursing assessments, initiates and updates treatment plans, directs patient care, conducts group and individual therapy/education, coordinates intake and continuum of care, administers medications (IV administration and venipuncture as authorized), educates family members, and supervises other mental healthcare workers. Requires one year of clinical nursing experience (geriatrics/mental health preferred), RN license, CPR, and CPI certifications. Travel required; flexible hours and possible unscheduled overtime. Education: Associates or better required; Bachelors preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Registered Nursing (RN) Degree
- Current State Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Current CPI Certification
- One (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferably in geriatrics and/or mental health
- Travel required
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
