Job Summary
Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for residents requiring long-term and rehabilitative care. Implement patient care plans, evaluate responses, and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing personnel while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring equipment maintenance. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with facility policies and the Nurse Practice Act. Works rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing
- A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting or long-term care setting
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice
- Must have a reliable source of transportation
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
