Job Summary

Conduct critical care nursing in the MICU, administering medications, managing infection control, and applying critical thinking to patient physiological needs. Deliver bedside care while maintaining effective communication with physicians, staff, and the public. Operate under a full-time schedule of three 12-hour night shifts (7:30 pm–8:00 am) rotating every other weekend. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current DC RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in nursing upon hire or after completion of HUH's Professional Nurses Clinical Advancement Program (PNCAP) and 18 months of employment at HUH

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week on Nights 7:30 pm-8:00 am
  • Every other weekend rotating
