Registered Nurse (RN), Night Shift, Med Surg Urology

Registered Nurse (RN) for Night Shift on the Med Surg Unit (Urology) educated patients and families through the continuum of care, mentored Level I nurses, and aligned with ANA standards of practice. Will use equipment and technology correctly to delegate non-nursing duties, develop a care plan, identify changes in patient condition, and participate in evidence-based practice and change of practice. Responsibilities include conducting purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective, applying literature findings to practice, and supporting a patient-centered care approach in a hospital setting. This role operates within Adventist HealthCare’s mission and shifts are 7:00pm–7:00am (36 hours/week), including biweekly weekends; evening/night coverage with a 12-hour shift schedule.
