Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg on Night Shift at Shady Grove Medical Center. Educate patients and families through the continuum of care, mentor Level I nurses and students, develop care plans, monitor patient conditions, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately, and participate in evidence-based practice to improve clinical care. Adheres to ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values; uses equipment and technology to maximize efficiency and safety; conducts purposeful rounding and applies findings from literature to practice. Requires RN licensure in Maryland, NCLEX pass, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BLS certified with ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by specialty, and 36 hours per week during night shift. Total compensation includes a pay range of $37.00-$55.00 per hour along with benefits and shift differential; vaccination and wellness policies apply as described. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Passing NCLEX
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
