Job Summary
Emergency Department RN needed at Fort Washington Medical Center. Responsibilities include educating patients and families through the continuum of care, mentoring Level I nurses and students, using electronic resources to support best practices, and developing care plans. The role requires professional nursing standards adherence (ANA), effective delegation of non-nursing duties, accurate identification of changes in patient condition, and participation in evidence-based practice and practice changes. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Passing NCLEX
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
