Job Summary
Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families regarding treatment plan changes. Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients. Oversee the Nurse Aide team by giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors to foster a positive healing environment. Requires a current Michigan RN license, CPR-BLS certification, and an Associate's degree or higher. Full-time or part-time 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays available.
Required Qualifications
- A current license to practice as an RN Registered Nurse in Michigan
- current CPR-BLS certification
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher
