Job Summary
Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care across departments and function within the scope of nursing preparation, the State Nurse Practice Act, and Mercy Service Standards. Rotate across the Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units as part of the Float Pool. Requires an active RN license in Missouri or a compact license, with one year of RN experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
- Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year RN experience preferred
