Registered Nurse (RN), Neurosciences

Conduct initial patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and develop individualized care plans for patients in an outpatient neurosciences setting. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions, and perform minor procedures such as wound care and suture removal. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, then document all care in electronic health records. Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive care and manage follow-up appointments. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Texas RN license, and BLS certification.
