Job Summary
Collect and document physical, psychological, and educational patient data; differentiate emergent, urgent, and non-urgent cases. Evaluate telephone calls, establish clinic priorities, and delegate care to the healthcare team. Administer immunizations, allergy shots, and parental injections; perform or assist with specimen collection and various screening tests. Monitor IV infusions, manage acute minor illnesses per physician orders, and document variances to revise care plans. Conduct pre-authorizations, schedule specialized procedures, and coordinate follow-ups with families and providers. Maintain clean exam rooms, assist in inventory control, and attend in-service training to support joint commission standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR card
- Knowledge of physician's office practices and policies
- Strong computer skills for documentation purposes in the electronic medical record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership to the nursing staff

- Strong organizational and time management skills
