Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology - Med Surg Unit - Springfield Regional Medical Center - Weekend Only

Establish goals and strategies for patient discharge or continuing care needs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Perform and document complete patient assessments, initiate nursing care plans, and provide individualized teaching to address patient learning needs. Administer medications safely while serving as a point of contact for care coordination throughout hospital departments. Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics professionals. Work nights (7p-7:30a) for 24 scheduled weekly hours on weekends only.
