Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry (PCU) unit at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for high-acuity neuro and trauma patients across a dual specialty PCU/Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning and discharge planning, direct patient care, coordination and supervision of the health care team, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff. Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend/holiday rotation. On-the-job training, opportunities for professional growth, and a $3/hour weekend differential where applicable. Must have an RN license and BLS certification; Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact license
- BLS certification required
- Experience in acute care/ specialty area preferred
- Must maintain clinical performance competencies
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain Banner facilities
- Bachelor's degree preferred (preferred qualification)
- Professional certification preferred (preferred qualification)
