Job Summary
Accurately perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for a 20-bed Neuro Science unit serving spine, neck, head surgery, stroke, and seizure populations. Provide timely care based on patient condition and age, complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans, and perform accurate QI assessments. Maintain comprehensive documentation relating to medical necessity. Requires current state RN license, Basic Life Support certification within 30 days, and ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS within six months. One to two years of Neuro/Ortho experience is preferred. Work 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling and every-other-weekend rotation.
