Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients on a 20-bed Neuro Science unit. Perform timely documentation, complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans, and execute QI assessments. Manage patient populations including spine/neck/head surgery, stroke, and seizure cases. Requires current state RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within six months. 1-2 years of Neuro/Ortho experience preferred. Work 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling and every-other-weekend rotation.
