Registered Nurse RN - Neuro Med/Surg - Full-Time - Days - Bayfront Hospital - St Petersburg

Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care for acute brain injury, stroke, and epilepsy patients on a fast-paced, clinically intense unit. Administer medications, perform treatments, and validate telemetry rhythms while maintaining a 1:6 patient ratio with Nursing Assistant and Charge RN support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prioritize care, delegate tasks, and document progress toward expected outcomes. Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, and unit educator to support new staff and students. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and participate in quality improvement committees.
