Job Summary
Conduct daily rounds and provide primary nursing care for neurological and neurosurgical patients in an 18-bed ICU, managing conditions including stroke, brain tumors, and neurotrauma. Deliver comprehensive bedside support for hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes, cerebral aneurysms, and complicated spine surgeries while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Requires Delaware RN licensure, BSN, and at least two years of ICU experience; rotate through day and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Delaware RN licensure or compact RN license
- BSN required
- commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of the date of hire
- BLS Certification required
- at least two years of RN experience working in an ICU, step-down, or progressive care unit required
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification strongly preferred
