Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing skilled home nursing care per care plans and physician orders in patients' homes; roles include delivering and coordinating quality patient care, documenting nursing actions, developing and updating care plans, observing patient status, communicating changes to supervisors, and ensuring compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and state/federal regulations. Requires active RN license, CPR certification, ability to travel to patient homes, and proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and patient/family education. Flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, or PRN with night and day shifts available; sign-on bonuses for full-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Graduate of accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Compact licenses must be transferred to state of residence within 90 days
- State-specific requirements (e.g., Pediatrics experience in SC; experience requirements in CA, LA)
- Continual education as required by state
- Ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds
- English proficiency
