Job Summary
Deliver patient care and teach through the nursing process while directing and guiding the activities of other nursing personnel. Maintain established policies and procedures and assist in providing care to patients of all age groups. Requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and specialty unit criteria; includes weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation with 40 weekly hours. Located at NCH Pediatrics at St. Vincent Medical Center, a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited college/university or institution
- Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice of the nursing process
