Job Summary
RN provides nursing care to patients at the MUSC Florence Ambulatory Surgery Center using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Responsible for directing and collaborating with the care team to deliver age-appropriate care, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, coordinate care, and promote health teaching and outcomes in accordance with MUSC policies. Requires an Associate's Degree, SC (or compact) RN license, and BLS certification; typically PRN/part-time scheduling with 8 scheduled hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- Current SC Nursing License or Compact State license
- 1 year of RN work experience
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
