Job Summary
Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and leads assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age/developmentally appropriate care. Focuses on patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs. Demonstrates professional setting abilities through active participation in shared governance, adherence to nursing standards, participation in peer reviews, and promoting leadership and clinical excellence while coordinating effective patient care services.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse
