Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the 2 East Neuro/Stroke Med Surg Telemetry unit in Virginia Beach. Primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, performing rounds checks, administering medications, and communicating with families, with a strong emphasis on teamwork to ensure quality patient care. Opportunities to become NIHSS-certified, shadowing, and potential for leadership/promotional growth. Schedule is full-time weekend night shift (36 hours). Unit specializes in neurology, stroke care, and telemetry; accommodating education, certifications, and potential tuition support.
Required Qualifications
- ADN required
- BSN or higher preferred
- Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- New grads welcome
- Experienced RN welcome
