Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to patients and families on the Mother Infant Unit at Lowell General, adhering to established policies and procedures. Manage patient needs while communicating effectively with the healthcare team, physicians, and families. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs, turning patients, and prolonged standing or walking. Maintain Massachusetts RN licensure with 12–36 months of experience, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred. Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM as part of a 24-hour shift. Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN Licensure
- 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing
- BSN
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certification(s) relevant to the department and the type of patient care being provided
- 1-2 years in telemetry or intermediate care setting
- ACLS
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Knowledge of and application of the nursing process
