Job Summary
Organize and deliver nursing care for mothers and newborns using the Nursing Process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; provide ethical, holistic care promoting autonomy and dignity for diverse patient populations; maintain a learning environment for patients, families and staff; contribute to quality improvement and cost-conscious care; expect responsibilities include prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating patient care, and actively participating in clinical decision-making; require Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent, RN licensure in WA, BLS, and facility-required certifications; night shift with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends; hospital-based role at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital with a focus on mother-baby services; advanced degrees preferred (MSN, PhD, DNP)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from hire date
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
