Job Summary
RN provides competent nursing care for Mother Baby and Nursery Care Unit including labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum care, and OB/GYN surgical patients; works night shift in a fast-paced, magnet-designated, high-quality hospital environment with opportunities for professional growth, certification reimbursement, tuition assistance, and potential sign-on bonus. Requires clinical knowledge of nursing process, standards of practice, ethics, effective communication, leadership, and evidence-based practice; BSN/MSN preferred; licensure in Virginia or a compact state; BLS within 90 days, ACLS/PALS or ENPC within one year; new grads with preceptorship considered; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision packages, 401k, tuition assistance, and other family-support programs.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Virginia or compact state in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS or ENPC within one year of hire
- BSN or MSN preferred; RN-Associate’s Degree, RN-Bachelor’s Degree, RN-Diploma, RN-Master’s Degree accepted
