Job Summary
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across 12 different ambulatory clinics including Whitefish Bay, Midtown, River Center, Third Ward, Manor Park, and multiple St. Luke's and Sinai locations. Coordinate therapeutic care using evidence-based practice while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to uphold professional standards and promote optimal health outcomes. Transport patients and equipment between sites as a car is essential for this float role. Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established policies while responding quickly to changes in patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions
- Must be able to maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions
- Car is essential for the position
- Transportation is essential for the position
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical RN experience
