Job Summary
Monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and perform procedures such as IVs and lab specimen collection. Develop and modify care plans, coordinate with healthcare teams, and facilitate transfers to hospitals or triage centers. Maintain accurate medical records, ensure infection control compliance, and supervise LPN/CNA/RA staff. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays with on-call availability to address staff concerns. Requires current Michigan RN licensure, CPR/First Aid certification, and EMR experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registration and licensure from the State of Michigan
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications
- Must have ability to operate a computer
- Availability to work holidays, evenings, or weekends
- RN will be on-call to answer concerns from staff and being available to come on-site using judgment to determine when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Six months to one year geriatric experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred
