Job Summary
Provides nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and leads team members while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include patient-focused care, coordinating care, health teaching, and maintaining a safe environment. Requires active participation in professional practice and shared governance to promote clinical excellence. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
