Job Summary
Coordinate medical treatment, including triage, staff guidance, and emergency response for ICL individuals while maintaining ongoing assessments of health care needs. Answer calls from residences regarding health issues, communicate with doctors and providers, and instruct staff on proper medical triage procedures. Conduct routine and emergency visits to residences to assess individuals, accompany them to medical appointments, and perform medication audits per MAP policy. Review medical documentation, assess laboratory work, and plan training programs for staff in coordination with the Nurse Manager. Maintain a safe workplace by identifying hazards and reporting accidents. Requires current Massachusetts RN license, one year nursing experience, and a valid driver's license. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of procedures and practices in the field of nursing
- Possess current and valid Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum of one year nursing experience
- Must be self-directed
- Have strong communication and organizational skills
- Possess current driver's license
- Have car
- Willingness to use car for work purposes
- Currently CPI/Restraint certified
