Job Summary
Join MetroHealth System's Acute Care Adult Medical Specialty Unit (9 East) as a Registered Nurse. Provide care for a variety of complex medical disorders with telemetry; perform IV placement, blood draws, Foley catheter care, tracheostomy care, NG placement, PEG tube care, drains, and wound care. Demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, and delegation while collaborating with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, and WOCN across a 34-bed unit. Eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying experience; comprehensive benefits and OPERS retirement offered. Location: MetroHealth Main Campus Glick, Elyria, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification
