Job Summary
Registered Nurse RN – Mercy Clinic Float Pool (Hybrid) provides patient-centered, safe and efficient care under the direction of the primary care operations team. Partners with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel. Duties emphasize nursing care in alignment with Mercy Service Standards, focusing on collaboration and quality improvement within a float pool setting. Facilities include BLS/ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC or other unit-specific certifications as required. The role requires a nursing graduate, active RN licensure, and compliance with state board requirements, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- One or more of the certifications listed may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe (e.g., ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM)
- Physical requirements including ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking
