Job Summary
Assess physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients requiring care. Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care based on those assessments. Delegate appropriate tasks and supervise ancillary staff. Provide nursing services while maintaining current New Jersey Board of Nursing registration, Welle certification, and BLS. Requires BSN or MSN enrollment within six months of hire, with preferred previous psychiatry experience and one year of medical-surgical nursing. Part-time day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing

- Previous experience in psychiatry

Desired Qualifications
- You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position
- BSN or MSN graduates preferred
- Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: Hired on or before May 31, 2013 -- IMC
- Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW
- Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: Hired on or before May 31, 2023 – IMCM
- National Certification
