Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Float

RN in MedSurg, night shift, full-time. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identifying outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice, delivering individualized, patient-centered care, coordinating care through effective partnerships, and maintaining consistent, culturally competent care. Emphasizes relationship-based care, bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, just-in-time and planned patient teaching, and updating patients and families on goals of care. Requires collaboration, documentation, adherence to clinical standards, participation in performance improvement and governance, and commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice. Supports a healthy work environment, protocols development, and resource management. Requires BSN or higher degree, RN licensure (multi-state compact preferred), and BLS certification.
