Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse on the Burn/Med-Surg unit at Cobb Hospital is a full-time night-shift role within an interdisciplinary care team. The nurse provides individualized, high-quality, safe patient care using evidence-based practice, performs the nursing process, and coordinates with patients, families, and other care team members. Responsibilities include relationship-based patient-centered care, interdisciplinary rounds, timely documentation, and adherence to professional standards and the Wellstar Practice Model. Requires active nursing license (RNs may be licensed in a single state or via compact), BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and collaborative skills are essential. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelor’s Nursing-Preferred
- RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English; basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
