Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse on the MedSurg/Burn unit at Cobb Hospital oversees nursing care in a Night shift (7p-7a), Full-Time. Provides evidence-based, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, following the nursing process, ensuring safe, individualized care and effective communication with patients and families. Roles include coordination of care, documentation, adherence to standards and policies, mentoring or precepting, and participation in performance improvement and shared governance. Requires active RN licensure (GA) with BLS; minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience. Education options include Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree (Bachelor's preferred). Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Location: Austell, GA (MedSurg/Burn at Cobb Hospital).
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Possess excellent time management skills; practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills
