Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for MedSurg/Acute Care at Wellstar. Join an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting. Requires active nursing license per Georgia regs, with licensure options including RN-Compact. BLS certification required. Acute-care experience and direct patient care are valued; role supports patient advocacy, adherence to ethics, and adherence to evidence-based practice within a shared governance framework. Education pathway includes Associate's Degree/Diploma with Bachelor's preferred; clinical hours completed during nursing education; continual adherence to professional standards and scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma
- Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Direct patient care experience Preferred
