Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in MedSurg/Acute Care provides high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes advocacy for patients and families, adherence to nursing standards and ethics, and application of evidence-based practice within the Wellstar model. Licensure in Georgia (or compact state) and BLS certification are required; expected to begin with less than 1 year of nursing experience and support to develop direct patient care skills in a busy clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (required)
- RN licensure (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (multistate)
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (or equivalent)
- Less than 1 year of required clinical hours completion; direct patient care experience preferred
