Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in MedSurg—Acute Care delivering individualized high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Practice aligned with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics; supported by Wellstar governance and practice models. Roles include licensed and unlicensed staff collaboration, adherence to standards, and commitment to service excellence in a hospital environment. Requires active nursing license (RN) and BLS certification; multi-state RN-Compact option available; education includes Associates or Diploma in Nursing with BSN preferred. Location: Powder Springs, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing
- Bachelor's Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Direct patient care experience Preferred
