Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families for education and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews, ensuring timely documentation and safe quality patient care. Participate in shared governance, performance improvement activities, and research utilization to promote best practices. Mentor staff and students, complete mandatory education, and develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Comply with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards.
