Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families on goals and education. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews, ensuring timely documentation and safe quality care delivery. Mentor staff and students, participate in performance improvement activities, and contribute to protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Uphold Wellstar policies, accreditation standards, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
