Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides total nursing care for residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members, including directing and motivating the workforce; administers medications and starts IVs; develops and implements individualized nursing care plans; collaborates with physicians and other departments; supervises LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs; participates in orientation and in-service training; ensures documentation complies with rules and regulations; coordinates care with therapy services and other departments; interviews applicants and participates in hiring decisions; maintains confidentiality and responds decisively in emergencies.
