Registered Nurse (RN) - Medicine Oncology Unit

Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medicine Oncology Unit in Norfolk, VA, nights (Third Shift). Provides competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care) with emphasis on teaching and health promotion. Unit features a 24-bed medical unit with oncology focus and a pathway for new grads including an 11-week Transition to Practice program followed by a 6-month residency. New grads are welcome to apply. Eligible for Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus. Education requirements include RN licensure; BLS is required within 90 days of hire. Unit handles a range of diagnoses including diabetes, pulmonary, cardiac, and oncology care; organization supports professional development and nursing excellence.
