Registered Nurse (RN) - Medicine

Conduct patient interviews, assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status, and adjust care plans based on mobility, sensory deficits, and pain levels. Implement individualized plans of care while administering medications safely, performing decubitus care, and applying aseptic techniques for dressings and irrigations. Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate treatments, delegate assignments, and ensure safety precautions are followed. Document patient status, outcomes, and responses to interventions accurately according to departmental policy. Manage emergency situations effectively and provide discharge planning and education to patients and families. Requires current New York State RN license, BSN degree within five years, and specialized certifications as needed.
