Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical 7W Weekend Option provides direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality. The unit focuses on cardiac rhythm interpretation, acute medical care, and fast-paced patient management for adults with common conditions such as cellulitis, pneumonia, UTIs, chest pain, GI issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, ensuring professional accountability, and supporting ongoing professional growth. The role offers weekend scheduling (Fri–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with a weekend incentive of $20/hour, sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates, and access to loan forgiveness and tuition assistance programs.
