Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Medical on the 7W weekend option at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Provides patient care using the nursing process and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Unit cares for adults with conditions such as cellulitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, chest pain, GI issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients, offering opportunities to build skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and fast-paced patient management. Requires MO RN licensure (or compact) and BLS, with a weekend schedule of Fri–Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 PM for 36 hours/week. Weekend incentive of $20/hour and sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses (up to $5,000 for new graduates). Why Mercy? Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)/Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (through American Heart Association or to be completed within 30 days of hire)
