Job Summary
Implement relationship-based care for 5-6 adult patients on the 6B Medical Unit, managing acute and chronic conditions such as pneumonia, diabetes, and COPD. Admit and transfer patients from the emergency department, ICU, step-down unit, home, and doctors' offices while adhering to a charge nurse's daily assignments based on acuity and staff qualifications. Foster connections with patients and families within a three 12-hour shift schedule (7p-7a) including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- RN License in Delaware or a Compact State
- At least one year of med/surg experience as an RN
- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred or committed to acquiring BSN within 3 years of the hire date
