Job Summary
Assess and reassess the health care needs of adult patients with complex medical conditions, including post-op colorectal care, while involving patients, families, and providers. Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, then implement interventions guided by evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy. Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions, while assessing discharge needs and utilizing resources as needed. This 16-bed medical/surgical unit provides care to adult populations with a wide variety of complex conditions, focusing on restoring optimal physical and mental well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Previous experience in healthcare field
