Job Summary
Assess patient status and deliver exceptional nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, renal, and cardiac diagnoses on the Med-Surg Telemetry Unit. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to collect vital signs, administer IV medications safely, and update patient care plans to improve outcomes. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by charting accurately and implementing clinical nursing interventions for conditions including sepsis, COPD, and UTIs. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- One year of RN experience
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
