Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Telemetry, Full-Time, Night

Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care using evidence-based practices. Perform direct patient care, collect data, and complete nursing assessments while recognizing changes in patient status and validating priorities with the healthcare team. Develop individual plans of care in collaboration with providers and families, incorporating discharge planning and cultural sensitivity. Monitor quality of care, coordinate tasks, and utilize performance indicators to ensure patient safety and cost containment. Provide patient education, delegate tasks appropriately, and document progress toward expected outcomes. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital, adhering to compliance policies, infection control, and regulatory requirements including TJC and CMS standards.
